Jamie Colby
Colby, National News Anchor and correspondent for Fox News has worked there since July 2003. Colby served as anchor, reporter and also as a correspondent for CBS News before becoming a correspondent for FOX News Channel. Colby worked as a stand-in for CBS Up to the Minute. She was also an anchor for WPIX/WB-11 New York, a reporter at WNYW FOX 5 New York, and a correspondent/co-anchor on FOX News' WebMD TV. Colby has a law degree at the University of California and has been licensed to practice law in New York, California Florida and the District of Columbia. She received awards such as the Edward R.Murrow Award in 2002, for covering the attacks of September 11 in 2001, The Gracie Award for Investigative Reporting in 2000, as well as the Clarion Award for Women in Communications. She was also named Television Week's "Rising News Actor To Watch". Aside from her journalism career, Colby, an attorney has been in private practice for 10 years. Her law practice started at a Hollywood entertainment agency that entrusted Colby for The Tonight Show. At the age of 22, Colby was a reporter and host on Johnny Carson, both during the contract renewal process of NBC along with him and during his divorce. Colby has been the Fox Business reporter and host, has been reporting on Strange Inheritance from January 2015. The series focuses on the unusual or quirky legacies that friends or families pass on to their children.
